Data Science Holodeck is a Proof-of-Concept study towards the facilitation of a large Research & Development project under the FoU programme at Copenhagen Business Academy, Denmark.
It involves people and knowledge from the Innovation and Technology department – AP Computer Science, PBA Software development, and the InnoTechSpace labs, located in Lyngby, comprising best achievements of three worlds:
We aim at producing an augmented reality data science engine that can be used for representation, manipulation and publication of complex data and data models in a tactile and intuitive way.
A, potentially, very impactful spin-off is that such an engine would enable non-experienced professionals to apply data science and machine learning methods and tools at a very direct tactile and extremely intuitive level. To some extent this product in its full-scale realisation in a large FoU project will alleviate the demand for a midrange expert layer in the organisation of the business intelligence cycle.
